All of Us on Loy's Birthday
I thought it would be nice to take a photo of the family on each member's birthday. This is the first one with all of us--Baby Loy and our teddy bear, Amy (wearing one of Baby Loy's blouses for now), and that makes it a rather special. If you read my earlier post featuring an apple crumble recipe, you'll identify the centrepiece on the table straightaway!

Hi Monkey, thanks so much for your kind comments! Well, the fortunate apple crumble has really now literally become part of the family :) It has done its job well. We're hoping that baby will also come to love our favourite foods. I'll check out your other recipes sometime. Meanwhile, I'm going to try making a Southeast Asian kueh (cake/dessert) called Kueh Salat in preparation for Chinese New Year on the 9th of Feb. All the best, and an early new year salutation!
YO, LOY!!! (And Elaine as well). Cant believe that i'd actually find u guys here. Of course, given ur specific nature, i guess it shouldnt really be a surprise lah - but i still must say - it is still a real shocker to be able to discover the blog of a friend like that online through such circumstances...
(if u must know - i got invited to the same blog (as u, i think), - http://singaporespeaks.blogspot.com/, and then found ur name there... And then found my way in here! And what dya u know - it IS you!!! :D)
happy (belated) birthday!!!
-Jeff! Lim (from... u can probably guess where lah. If not... try the memory jogger phrase "XYZ"(!!!) with one of Caesar's inventions [well, supposedly])
ps. warning for u should u choose to read my blog - it is rated ("self"-rated) 'PG' - "profanity guaranteed". (well actually probably not 100% guaranteed lah, - but just so that u know...)
